A Frosty Morning

Macro_Frost_leaves copyright Gale Rainwater

We got a good frost the other morning here in Arkansas and I found these leaves in one of our city parks for a macro photography close up of some frost on leaves.. The leaves have been on the ground quite a while so there isn’t alot of color in them. Any comments or critique appreciated and thanks for looking.

Love the color from the cools to the warm tones. Also the diagonal rhythm is nice.

    Great Photo

I love the patterns frost can make, particularly on windows (with various light effects coming in from outside.) Not that I miss Canada, certainly! Lovely photo, as usual. :)

I was really hoping to find some good frosted leaves this year, but I guess my timing was always off. This image has so much interesting detail to explore.

Gale, a beautiful hoary frost photo that captures the crystals and shows nature ravaging the leaves that are already down. But even they can be beautiful. :D

Happy Holidays and I’m soooo thrilled to know I have this blog to visit. :D

If nature did this, my hat’s off to her. If it was you who twisted the color knob toward blue, then it’s you I want to congratulate on that magnificent decision.

Either way, it’s your artist’s eye and technician’s skill we all have to thank. So, thanks! It’s beautiful.
