Oh no no, that is not a classic, the shots I’ve seen of Colorado, are mostly snowy ones, so you did a good job, of creating the feel of more then one season at once here.

Namaste’ Gale this is wild, even though it’s not winter , the water looks as if I could skate upon it like ice. This picture cetainly gives off a serene, sirens call. ;0) Good job! Metta.

What a fantastic photo of the Maroon Belles - in fact, all your images are spectacular, it’s hard to say any one is better than any other.
I live and work in Kenya, where I also maintain a photo-journal recording the wildlife dramas occurring daily around my home and office - from fish eagles stealing food from crocodiles to tiny plover chicks hatching out just a few feet away from me.
I visit Colorado often - and indeed have seen that Maroon Belles scene several times with my own eyes too - as we have very dear friends who live near Carbondale.

Un’idea strana di buon mattino, aspettando per la colazione.
“Deformazione professionale”, direbbe l’esperto di cose del “genio architetto” in noi. Sembra che egli si voglia far mirare per le sue specialità matematiche.
Ecco, non vedete anche voi due iperboli contrapposte con i rispettivi fuochi in cima al monte e a quello riflesso?
Un monte allo specchio che, se visto meglio (in orizzontale) si intravede un viso col braccio destro sotto il mento (con un po’ di sforzo, naturalmente), in atto meditativo. Per riflettere sulle cose della matematica, a volte, occorre uno sforzo considerevole!
Però ci vuole una fervida fantasia per pensare a simili cose!
Miracoli della scienza, direbbe ella, con placida e serena maestà! Ma non senza la poesia in noi che i due amanti, del monte appena innevato e della limpida acqua in basso, sembrano suggerire.
