Oh no no, that is not a classic, the shots I’ve seen of Colorado, are mostly snowy ones, so you did a good job, of creating the feel of more then one season at once here. :)

Namaste’ Gale this is wild, even though it’s not winter , the water looks as if I could skate upon it like ice. This picture cetainly gives off a serene, sirens call. ;0) Good job! Metta.

    Hello Gale,

What a fantastic photo of the Maroon Belles – in fact, all your images are spectacular, it’s hard to say any one is better than any other.

I live and work in Kenya, where I also maintain a photo-journal recording the wildlife dramas occurring daily around my home and office – from fish eagles stealing food from crocodiles to tiny plover chicks hatching out just a few feet away from me.

I visit Colorado often – and indeed have seen that Maroon Belles scene several times with my own eyes too – as we have very dear friends who live near Carbondale.

    Congratulations on your fabulous work,

    Tanya (in Kenya)

Seems to capture so many seasons in one picture – photography at its best.
