I am planning a trip out west this month and hope to go to the Grand Canyon again. This was taken from the south rim a couple of years ago on another trip. Any comments or votes appreciated.

That picture is amazing. I wish I can go there one day.
I think I may have stood on this very spot…Is this on the South rim, by chance?
Every year from the time I was ver young until I was in my teens my parents took us from California to Oklahoma on Vacation for two weeks. My parents always made sure that we saw all the beauty there was to see from CA to OK and this included. Of course this was always one of my favorites. This, the painted dessert and the Indian ruins.
You caught the light of this so nicely Gale. I always enjoy your photographs.

This photo is very beautiful. I have never been to the Grand Caynon but have always wanted to go see it. Great shot!!
What a breathtaking picture…I hope to see this wonder one day! You took an awesome picture as always!
Winter is my favorite time to visit the Grand Canyon. I’ll be driving past there this weekend, in fact. You really captured the essence of a winter morning and made me miss being there. Thanks for the beautiful angst!
Namaste’ Gale. I feel like time stood still here, and I was watching a sacred ritual older than time, as the light dances across the ancient grounds.
