The waterfall smooth look is simply done with a tripod and a slow shutter speed. For the longest shutter speed set your camera to the lowest iso setting and then stop down if needed. You also can add a polorizer or neutral density filter to get longer shutter speeds. In this shot I really liked the reflection of the clouds and that's what caught my eye. Then when I looked at the image later I noticed how the water seamed to bend smoothly with the gentle waves going over the falls. I really thought the colors where cool so I adjusted it with a curves layer in photoshop. A curves layer lets you fine tune the contrast.I wanted the an abstract look for this part of the image.
