Ed Cooley and I camped at the beautiful Silver Falls State Park in Oregon. We shot several falls in nice overcast light. It just didn’t have any punch or drama like we wanted. After camping the night in the rain we awoke to this lovely fog. It was just what we had been talking about and wishing for the night before. This time our prayers were answered. I love the delicate soft layers that the fog was able to bring out in this scene. You have to look closely to really take it in I think. I hope you enjoy and please leave a comment for me. I really appreciate it when people do.

You version came out very nice Gale. It is nice when you get what you want every once in a while. Looks like this is what reallyndraws me to nature photography. Definitely worth a night camping in the rain even if some yoyo set off his car alarm.
LOL yeah I was so tired from hiking I can hardly remember you setting off the car alarm.
I ALWAYS love looking at your art work. I’ve never seen a photo better than the ones you create.
Thank you Rita. That is a very nice thing to say. I appreciate that.
Hi, Gale. It is my first time to see your work and very surprising. You really have the talent. The fog made a whole lot meaning to the picture and it is perfect. It is worth the wait. Sometimes if our subject is about nature we really need a lot of patience because it is all natural and we cannot dictate nature right? Congratulations on this output.
